How to get a refund from an immigration consultant?
Hi All,
I paid an immigration consultant to provide me with a job offer for Canada. The office is in Business Bay. We agreed on a total cost of 30,000 CAD and a time frame of 90-120 days. I paid an initial deposit of 10,500 AED in May 2023.
After I paid, they told me that the employer charged an additional 5 CAD. They have said this multiple times, claiming that the employer has high demands and the fees have increased.
When I asked for a refund, they said I have to wait because they are still working on finding another employer who will charge the same amount. However, as soon as I started asking for a refund, they began to change their story.
I no longer want to proceed with this process, and I want a refund.
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will definitely assist you in this matter.
If you've paid an immigration consultant for services and they're not delivering as agreed, first, review your contract, communicate your concerns in writing, and request a refund based on your agreement terms.
Keep copies of all communication. If you don't receive a satisfactory response, contact consumer protection authorities for guidance and mediation.
As a last resort, seek legal advice from us as we specialize in contract disputes and consumer protection, ensuring you have all documentation of your interactions and agreements.
For any further legal assistance, you can WhatsApp us. We have an extensive team of knowledgeable and experienced lawyers to provide the legal assistance you need.
We will definitely be happy to help you.
Thanks & Regards,

Dear Questioner,
Two options can be done for you:
(i) Lawyers to serve a legal notice and follow up with the other party (the debtor) consistently to settle the matter, or
(ii) To consult a lawyer and file a case in the court of the relevant jurisdiction.
Share your WhatsApp number if you want to go with the services.
