Questions & Answers
How to work legally in UAE with an ongoing court case?
Hi,
My ID expired on August 13, 2023. I have a company that is willing to give me a sponsorship letter for work, but I am unable to get my visa processed with them because I have an ongoing court case in the Sharjah court.
Please advise on the following:
1) How can I get a legal notice for a stay in the UAE, considering my situation of the court case?
2) How can I get a notice/letter from the court so that I can work legally in any company in the UAE?
I would really appreciate a prompt reply.
Thanks & Regards,

Dear Questioner,
Your work visa will not be processed if you have legal issues with your status.
You have to clear it for the further proceedings.
Later you have to get a clearance certificate from the court which is to be submitted to the company.
