الإساءات اللفظية من قبل صاحب العمل واحتفاظه بجواز السفر

Please note that you have two issues in the instant matter:

1- Labour related issue- Under the UAE Labour Law, Article 155 provides that you should address a formal complaint to your employer and send a copy of the said complaint to the Ministry of Labour for their records.

If the complaint is not resolved then you can officially complain to the Ministry regarding this ill treatment.

2- Withholding of passport- It should be noted that the employer is not entitled to keep your passport and this is utterly against the law of the land. It is a practice in UAE to keep employee passport but this is not legal.

You have a right in law to file a case against this and your passport will be given back to you with the aid of Police authorities.
