Resignation without a ban or fine due to employer's maltreatment

Hi,

I am on a limited contract of two years with a company and this is the fifth month of my probation period.

The employer is always insulting and accusing me of stealing his items from the company which is not true and he is doing the same to some of the employees.

The employer made a statement that once he had made a visa for me for two years, he will make sure he torments my life. I don't feel comfortable in the company. Whenever he calls me, he uses animal names instead of my name.

Can I resign without any ban or fine?

Dear questioner,

You can resign and file a complaint seeking compensation provided there is evidence of those charges.

Dear Sir,

Yes, and you must also register a criminal case for defamation and slander, and before that, you must register a labor case so that the employer does not register an escape report against you.

Dear User,

An employee may resign at any time during the probation period provided the notice period has been served (30 days) according to UAE labor law unless otherwise specified in the employment contract.

Furthermore, the employee will not face any ban or fine, nor can the employer ask for costs such as visa cost compensation.

Kind regards,
