Can the company refuse to renew my limited contract?
I am working as a general practitioner with a famous healthcare company for more than 16 years.
Today, they told me that they won’t be renewing my contract which is at the end of the month of May.
Can they do this on such short notice?

According to the provisions of the law, there must be a notice period agreed upon between the two parties.
And since the contract is for a limited period, as it is clear from the question, either party may warn the other party of not wanting to renew according to the agreed notice period.

Hi.
As per the new rule, the employer can terminate you by giving you a 30 days' notice.
