How can I check and settle unpaid loan and credit card cases before returning to the UAE?

I have a loan and credit card payment against a bank.

As I had to go back to my home country and couldn't go back to work for 5 months, I lost my job, hence I couldn't pay back the balance amount.

Now I want to go back to the UAE and get a job and would like to pay back the loan. What are the legal consequences I have to face?

Is it possible to go back to the UAE?

First, you must inquire if the bank filed a lawsuit against you.

If not, you cannot return and contact the bank to reschedule the installments to suit your new job.

It is better to search and investigate your criminal status sheet in order to be fully aware of what happened and avoid any incapacitating actions against you.

Hi

Pursuant to your query, have you checked if the bank has filed any case against you?

If there is a case filed against you, there would be a travel ban imposed along with other payment instructions and penalties.

It is likely that the bank has imposed a travel ban upon you and filed a civil case.

In these cases, once you enter the UAE you can not exit until the case is closed and the loan is repaid.

It is advisable to do a travel ban and active case check in the UAE prior to your arrival.
