Let's take it in steps.

1- if you want to cancel, you have to apply for a hold visa for your family because once you cancel your visa, automatically they will be canceled.

To apply for the hold, you must get a new offer letter from a company and pay around AED 5,000 refundable.

After you obtain the new residency, you can take the held money back.

2- If you opened a case against the company, the residence will remain active till the verdict is final.
