Is it possible to resign on probation and return to home country?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Is it possible to resign on probation and return to home country?

I came here to join a company on November 1, 2022, and I got my Emirates ID on February 2, 2023. Now I want to resign because I am unable to adjust to the company's work culture and unprofessional behavior.

I am planning to go back to my home country, Bangladesh. I want to know how long I can stay after canceling the visa and if there is any obligation that could be created by my employer.

As I bear my all costs by myself coming over to Dubai, they only provide the company's visa cost.

Thank you!

Dear questioner,

After canceling your visa, the visa cancellation document will indicate the number of days you have remaining in the country.

Regarding your flight expenses, the company is responsible for covering the cost if they require you to work in the Emirates.

Additionally, it is illegal for any amounts related to your residency visa to be paid by you.

You can stay for 180 days after the cancellation unless a shorter period is mentioned in the cancellation paper.
