How to get a residence visa in the UAE after getting divorce and cancelling my visa?

I got a residence visa followed by an Emirates ID after getting married to my husband who was already living in Abu Dhabi.

Afterward, the marriage didn't work out, unfortunately. I filed a khula case in Pakistan and got divorced. Now, I wanted to know what would be my UAE residence visa status.

Will I get a visa extension?

Or how can I substitute the sponsor on my Emirates ID?

Can I obtain a visa independently if I want to continue living in UAE?

Hello,

In the event of divorce, your visa which was on the husband's sponsorship will be canceled.

But you have the right to visit the UAE, look for a job, and make your residence on it.

It's been 9 months since I am outside the UAE.

Should I pay the charges and get the visa extension or what?

The residencyexpires automatically after 6 months outside the UAE. You can apply for a new visa.
