Employee eligibility for 3 months' salary if the employer terminated the limited contract

If the employer terminates a limited contract early, are they liable to pay the employee 3 months' salary compensation?

This is aside from the notice period they must give.

Hi C.,

As per Article 43 of the provisions of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 on the Regulation of Employment Relations (the ‘Employment Law’), Any party to an Employment Contract may terminate the contract for a good cause, by giving the other a notice in writing. The employee shall perform his duties during the notice period agreed upon in the contract, provided that the notice period is not less than 30 days and not in excess of 90 days.

All contracts as per the new law have been converted to limited contracts.

Yes, but if he gives the notice period of the contract, the employee is not entitled.
