Assistance with changing the local sponsor

Hi,

I am the sole proprietor of my business running for 17 years, however, I decided to change my local sponsor.

I have cancelled her name in the court and done the necessary, however, before I could change to the new sponsor, I misplaced the documents given to me by the court.

What can be done now to change the sponsor, since I need to renew my trade license?

Dear questioner,

Please note that in order to advise you, we need to understand first what do you mean by the local sponsor because it can be one of two cases.

One is the local service agent and the other is the local partner holding shares of 51% or more of your business. The procedures for each of the cases is different.

On another note, we need to understand what documents have you executed before the court. And if it is the notary public that you refer to or you have produced a document through a case filed before the courts.

Best regards,

The sponsor is a local service agent. Yes, it's the notary public, and I have misplaced the cancellation documents given to me by the notary.

If you have a copy of the document, you can go to the notary to issue a certified true copy.

If not, you can go also to the notary and request them to search their system through your personal details - if you are the one who signed - and they can extract the document and make a certified true copy.
