Overstay fine calculation upon waiting for visa processing

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am ready to start visa processing, but it will take time.

If any fine is coming for overstaying, can I measure the penalty for overstaying? Is there any way?

Dear questioner,

Overstay fine is calculated after the 30-day grace period for residents or the 10-day grace period for tourists. If someone overstays on a visit visa, they will be fined AED 200 on the first day and AED 100 for each consecutive day.

If a person overstays with an expired residency visa, then after the grace period, they will be fined AED 125 for the first day and AED 25 for each consecutive day unless 6 months pass, then it will be AED 50 per day.

Regards,

Please note that if the visa process has already started before the expiry of your visa, then the overstay fine will not apply but payment of AED 550 in lieu of leave.

In the event of overstay fines after the end of the visit period, we make a request to reduce the fines and settle the situation.

In this case, several procedures are needed, including submitting a new visit visa or a new job offer upon completion of the payment of fines after the reduction and amending the situation immediately to not calculate additional fines and finish it at the lowest possible cost.
