Is there a penalty you need to pay if you leave before the end of the tenancy contact?

Hello,

I will certainly need to leave my flat one month before the end of the lease contract. The lease contract that I will have is already paid entirely.

In that case, if I inform my landlord in advance that I will vacate the flat one month earlier, he cannot ask me to pay a penalty, right?

Will he reimburse the last month in that case?

How long should I inform him in advance of this?

Thank you.

Dear User,

As per the law, the tenant needs to give the landlord a 90-days notice in writing before terminating the lease contract.

Reimbursement and penalty depend on the terms of the lease agreement entered into between you, as the tenant, and the landlord.

If you require our assistance, please email us.

Kind regards,

Send a legal notice to the owner to vacate the apartment and that you do not want to renew before the lease expiry date.

Hello,

You have to notify the landlord three months earlier and to be sure you have to receive the cancelation of the contract to avoid calculating the rent.
