I lost my job and left the UAE without paying the credit card dues. Can I come back?
Hello
I was working between 2016 and 2020 in a company. The owners ran away without any notice during the Covid lockdown. Due to the lockdown, I couldn't get a new job, so I decided to leave the UAE with my family.
I have no intention to cheat anyone, but unfortunately, I could not pay any credit card dues until now. I got a good job again in the UAE.
After the cheque bounce case was decriminalized - is there a chance to stop me at the airport?
Now, I am working in business development so I need to travel to other countries as well. How can we check any travel ban, criminal case, and civil case?
I can be ready to pay in installments one by one. The total amount is around AED 120,000 for 5 credit cards.
One more question:
In my new company, I need to visit various countries for work purposes at the time if I pay a fine in court/if no civil case against me.
Can I get a police clearance certificate to travel to other countries or apply for a visa to other countries?
Advanced thanks to all and looking forward to hiring a lawyer to solve this problem.

Can you please share your passport details and POA?

Dear Querist,
Thank you for your query.
As per the latest changes in law, the bounced cheque is decriminalized which means that once the check gets bounced, the bank automatically can put a case to court.
We can help you first with a status check first, and then help you to make a settlement with the bank to clear your liabilities.
For more info, contact us by phone.
Thanks

Hi,
Since you left the UAE without making the payment for the cards, there can be a case/cases filed in your name.
So, it would be advisable to check for any travel ban or case in your name if you plan to travel to any GCC country.
You can only get the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) if there are no existing cases in the UAE.

Hi,
We can assist you with checking if there is any civil case filed by the bank.
Additionally, we can also help you in getting a settlement plan with the bank.
Hello,
Hope you are well.
First, we have to check the court cases or the police procedures if there are any procedures,
Second, we will negotiate with the bank to accept the amount in installments.
In the beginning, to do the POA and check for the cases, there is a charge of AED 4,600.
After we get the cases report, we will talk about the cases charge.
