Working as a teacher and running an online business at the same time

Dear sir/madam,

I am a teacher in Dubai under my husband's sponsorship. I have a salary account in Dubai Islamic Bank.

I need to know the legal requirements for starting an online e-commerce business for which I will need to register a company.

Can I work as a teacher and run my online business as well?

I want to go with the laws.

Dear questioner,

You can do business and work as a teacher at the same time if your visa is still an employee visa or a wife visa.

If you changed your visa as an investor, you can’t join the job.

Good Day ma'am,

For starting a business, you will need to obtain a business license required with the activity (services) you will be providing.

Further, we will also need to obtain an NOC from the school and inform them regarding this.

We can assist you in the entire process.

Kindly contact us through email or phone.
