Lavenia Emberson

Lavenia Emberson is an accomplished Legal Practioner in various areas of law such as Contracts, Family law, Labour matters and Citizenship and Immigration. A former diplomat for the New Zealand Government, Lavenia has worked in the Pacific, Russia and the Middle East. She has extensive knowledge of the law in the UAE and other jurisdictions and has drafted, reviwed and advised on legal agreemets for over 10 years. A regsitered DIFC Wills draftsman, Lavenia can assist with succession planning as well as matters relating to intestate and divorce proceedings, adoption and guardianship. Lavenia also works with the local UAE labour law whilst apporaching this from a practical angle. A licensed immigration adviser for New Zealand and Australia, Lavenia has also assisted many families to migrate and settle all around the world including Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Denmark. She has been accredited by all five Caribbean Countries (St Kitts and Nevis, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada and St Lucia) to carry out the legal work for their programmes. In addition to the latter, her accreditations extend to Vanuatu and other offshore jurisdictions. With a passion for knowledge, Lavenia has trained many agents and staff on combatting document fraud for example and continues to contribute to forums and immigration conferences around the world.
