The tenant is not paying. How to evict him?
Dear sir/madam,
My tenant is not paying his rent. How long does it take to remove him through court?
I heard that Dubai law is protecting tenants in these matters. What are the chances the court rules in his favor?
Since I don't live in Dubai, I have my agent with POA who gets the rental check under his name, will it be a problem in court?

Dear questioner,
As per the law, if the tenant is not paying you the rent, you have the right to send him a legal notice to pay within 30 days and if he still doesn't pay, you can take it to RDC and complain about it and ask for the outstanding rent with his eviction from the property.

Hello,
As per your query, please note that as the tenant is not paying the rent, you can remove him by giving a 30 days notice for non-payment and file a case for eviction.
The POA should mention that he can attend any court or dispute center and submit documents and, if it is written, then he can give a POA to a lawyer, if it is not written, then we can make a new POA for the agent.

Dear questioner,
Did you serve him a notice?

Hello questioner,
If your tenant fails to pay rent as agreed by the agreement, you have all the right to file a case of eviction against him. Since this is a tenancy case, the matter will be heard quickly.
If you want legal representation, you can authorize your agent to give us one POA and we can take up the case.
You can contact me via phone.
Thank you!
