Landlord's right to request eviction if the tenant defaults on rent

I'm a foreigner landlord and my tenant is paying rent. His cheque has bounced and he's not in Dubai, but his friend is living in the apartment.

Hello,

If the tenant is refusing to pay and he is subleasing the apartment to a friend without your written approval, then you can demand an eviction.

In order to be able to better assist you, we will have to review the tenancy contract.

Once we review the contract, we will have a better understanding of the situation.

Please contact us at our phone or come by the office.

I'm a foreigner living in Karachi, Pakistan, so I'm unable to come by your office at present.

If you want, I can email you the tenancy contract, a copy of the bounced cheque...etc.

Kindly advise on the procedure to follow for tenant eviction and the costs involved.

Many thanks

Dear Sir,

You should file a criminal case against him for the bounced cheque in the nearest police station, and file a complaint in Rental Dispute Center for the eviction of the tenant from your property due to the non-payment of rent.

Thanks and regards,
