Dear questioner, Pursuant to your query, since the employee was not terminated by the employer, the employer is not obliged to pay him for the repatriation flight, however, for his unused ticket, he should get his ticket allowance. However, if there has been any clause in his offer letter or contract which specifies that there is a certain time period to avail of those tickets then the employee has to abide by that. If the employee has not been aware of any such clause and there is no written evidence of it, the employee can raise a complaint in the MOHRE. I received a termination letter from my company for restructuring. Is this considered arbitrary dismissal?

I received a termination letter from my company on January 31st, 2025, with a one-month notice period, stating my last working day as February 28th, 2025. Do I need to hire a lawyer if I found I have a marital case against me in the court?

By checking in Al Adheed, I have found there is a marital matter case against me in Dubai Courts. There is a hearing date for next week and the time mentioned in the case status with a link for an online hearing.
