What can I do if I got permanent scars from a cosmetic procedure at a salon?

Hello.

I am facing a really horrible time after visiting one of the salons in Dubai in December 2020.

I had permanent makeup remover on my eyebrows and it is been now 1 year and a half and I have horrible red scars on my face instead of eyebrows.

I visited a lot of clinics trying to improve it, however, all doctors are saying it is scars and nothing can be done and I have to live with it.

I want to file a case against that salon that did it for me. I am a young lady and now I have to hide my face once I step out of my apartment because of these horrible scars.

My lifestyle is changed, I am trying to avoid people so they will not look at my scars, it kills me day by day and I got so much depressed.

Do you have a payment receipt or any other document proving that you got the treatment from this clinic?

I don't have the original receipt as it was December 2020, however, I paid by the card so I have a message from the bank for the payment made with the clinic name.

And I have messages on WhatsApp last year when I was following up with them regarding my skin condition.

When they realized that my skin is not healing they stopped replying.

Did you sign any consent letters or any documents?

Moreover, you will have to visit a government hospital and ask them for a medical report showing that you visited the particular salon and got the permanent makeup removal done which has resulted in a permanent scar on your face and that it can't be treated.

They didn't ask me to sign anything.

I just came to ask if permanent makeup can be removed and the salon said they will do the procedure and my skin will heal within 2-3 months.

But I just got permanent scars. I will visit a doctor from a government clinic to get the report.
