Q: Good Morning
I have one doubt with regard to payment of air ticket charges. The employee has worked for 3 years and now he has resigned and he is not leaving Dubai.
But he is working for some other company in Dubai.
Do we need to pay flight charges for the employee?
Does any law say that?

Providing an employee with a repatriation ticket by the company upon resignation?
2
Q: Good day!
I am writing to get advice on behalf of one of my junior employees. He has resigned from the company after working here for 8 years during which the company has provided him with a ticket back home once during his vacation.
Right now, he is willing to go back home and the company is refusing to provide him the ticket (based on the reason that he resigned and was not terminated), and refusing to include "unused" ticket allowances as well based on "he did not use them on time".
Please let me know if they are legally obliged to provide him with the ticket and if yes, how can I help him to get it?

It's a limited contract and the notice period was served, but the employee didn't finish the contract (worked for 11 months & 20 days only).

Q: Good evening,
I worked for a company for 2 years and 8 months without taking any vacation. However, when I resigned to go home, the company informed me that I should purchase the air ticket myself.
I would like to inquire if the company is not supposed to provide the air ticket for me.

View allThe maximum notice period employers can put in the contract as per the new labor law 0
Our internal contract has a notice period of 3 months from both parties. In the new labor implementation, only one month's notice is required for less than 5 years of service.
Please advise if we can follow our internal contract since the position is very curtailed and the organization will not be able to replace the position within one month.

Annual leave salary calculation as per the new labor law 0
Dear sir/madam,
Annual leave salary calculation as per the new labor law.
Can you please clarify the correct annual leave salary rules?
Some say it is basic + HRA for the month you will take off, others say it is full salary, and somewhere I read it is basic + HRA (annual leave salary) plus the normal salary you get.
Can you please clarify?
Thanks for your valuable time and kind assistance!
