Q: I'm a 63-year-old British National holding two apartments in Dubai; as such, I qualified for a Visa. My understanding was I could be out of the country for one year without returning, however, I've exceeded one year by 25 days (return should have been on 6 Jan 2023). Does this mean my visa will be canceled? Or can I pay some sort of fine at the airport? The Visa is valid until 01/10/2026. So obviously, I don't want to lose it.
