How to retrieve the passport after cancellation from the employer who asks for money?`

My English is a little bit weak. My name is B. S. I am speaking from Jebel Ali.
My visa cancelation date is 14-02-2022. The company canceled my visa but they did not give me my passport, and they hold my salary for January month.
I went to the management office and told them to give back my passport and they said first you give us 2000 dirhams and take passport according to Dubai law.

You need to raise a complaint to MOHRE and tell them all the details, they will help you. The no. is 80060.
Call MOHRE regarding your situation or file a complaint.
You can also immediately visit Al Adheed Centre in Oud Mehta or Ontime typing centre to raise an urgent complaint to take your passport.
The smart request is called (أمر على عريضة) in Arabic.
Dubai court will issue an order for police to take the passport from your Boss.
For the Court Order, you can follow up with the typing centre from where you typed the above-mentioned request.
Once you get the Order, call Dubai Police on 999 and give the same order to Police. The police will get your passport.
Please note that this procedure is only for Dubai-issued visas.
For any other Emirate, you have to visit the respective court to make the request.
