Do we need to pay GOSI against an expat employee on an investor visa of the same company?

Expat employees should be registered to the Social Insurance Organization. The contribution is 4% for expatriate employees (3% employer; 1% employee).

All expat employees registered as being employees of a company - i.e. have a residency/work permit with the company in Bahrain, must be registered with the SIO and pay the relevant fees.

The situation is a little different for individuals with Flexi Permits

If the person is an investor the company is not entitled to pay it because he is not an employee.
