Filing a petition to demand citizenship rights as a son of an Emarati father
8
Q: I am now 20 years old and was born to a UAE Citizen and a Kazakhstani national. I was born in Kazakhstan and have been residing with my father for a while, while my mother is residing in her home country.
There was no wedlock when I was born and it is not present till now. Am I eligible to apply for the Emirati citizenship? As I have already read in so many articles around the internet that the law states that anyone born to a citizen is eligible for it.
It really hurts knowing, for the past 20 years, that I still don't carry the rights of a UAE Citizen, knowing that the convicted mistake has nothing to do with me. I would be very glad if anyone can help me with this rare/complicated yet possible issue.

View allCan an employee be charged for resignation during probation period? 0
Hi,
I joined a company in Dubai free zone 3 months ago with unlimited contract and a probation period of 6 months. My current situation is that I am not comfortable with my current employer and want to come back to my home country.
I have handled my resignation letter 10 days ago. My visa is still in the process of making and I have not got my passport back yet. The company does not want me to leave and now requires me to pay 30000 AED without giving any explanation.
Could you please let me know if Free Zone Labor Law allows a company to charge employee resigning from work during probation period? What is the process of resignation from here? When should company return my passport?
Regards,

Employer's refusal to pay end of service benefits 0
Good Morning!
I'm writing to you in hopes of any help you can give me. I'm a single mom and sole provider of my family back home. Last Feb 15, 2017 I was terminated. Now, my former employer is blackmailing me for them not to pay me any of my end of service benefits.
I have not received any end of service benefits and they are not being cooperative and they are threatening me with police prosecution. I am begging for any help you can extend. Even legal advice on my situation will be dearly appreciated. Please. I need help. I am appealing to anyone in your office to please help.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Dispute re stolen money for PRO service 0
Hi, I am in a dispute with someone who has stolen money on a pretence of offering a PRO service. The invoice and crime committed all originate in Dubai.
I have told the assailant he needs to pay or I will raise a case against him and he moved to RAK recently where I found out where he lived and told him now I can make a court case. There are 20 other people I know he owes money to also.
He reported me to RAK police for harassment and threats even though my only threats were to do a combined court case with 25 other people against him and I told him Dubai police or CID will come for him if I report him. I went to Dubai police station who told me that the whole issue is a Dubai issue and not to worry.
What do I do? My number has changed from the one these crooks have so I don't know if RAK police called or not.
