Q: Good day,
I just wanna ask about the benefits that I can get for my vacation.
I just finished my 2 years' limited contract this month and they renewed my contract and gave me a vacation date from February to April.
I have a monthly salary of AED 3300 with an AED 2000 basic salary.
What are the benefits I can get upon the vacation period?
And is it lawful for them to give a 1-way ticket and I am the one to buy the ticket for the way back?

Due benefits upon the end of a limited labour contract term

Q: My contract is expiring and I informed my employer that I won't be continuing.
My contract is a Limited contract. The offer that I singed states that I am eligible for a ticket if I completed my 2 years.
Since I am not continuing, does it mean that I am not eligible for the ticket?
Aside from the gratuity, what else should I get from the company?

Employee's right to claim leave salary before completing one year of service

Q: My employee took a 1 month leave in the 7th month of the first year despite a clause in the contract that the first one year continuous leave cannot be taken.
So during that time, the employee had agreed that she does not want to get leave salary for that month.
However, after she resigned and the labour contract has been cancelled after a 2-year contract, she has presently included that 1st year leave salary in her pending dues.
Am I liable to give that?

Can a company change the holidays of the UAE for expat employees to their country's holidays?

I have a Chinese team in a Dubai-based company, they are working in Dubai itself.
Can we exempt them from Dubai national holidays and provide holidays related to China national holidays?

I wanted to purchase a 2-bedroom apartment in JVC Dubai. I gave a 10% security deposit cheque to the seller. The price mentioned in the MoU is very high compared to other similar apartments in the same building.
The bank’s valuation also came in very low. Since the valuation is much lower, how can I terminate the MoU and get my cheque back? The MoU ends on 1st October 2024.
One of the articles in the MoU states:
In the event that the Buyer fails to make the payments as agreed or fails to complete the transfer on the agreed date due to his own acts or omissions, the Seller has the right to terminate this agreement and retain the deposit, provided that the termination is due to a violation of the agreed terms, unless both parties agree amicably to different dates.

There is an employee who has been absent repeatedly. However, the company is not paying salaries on time, with regular delays in salary payments.

How is the probation period calculated exactly from the date of signing the contract? 0
Regarding the probation period, when is the deadline for an employer to terminate me if the DOJ anniversary is Friday 2nd Feb?
Will the six-month period end at midnight on the 1st, therefore completing six months, or can the employer still terminate on the 2nd?
