Q: Salam Alikom
If an investor wants to open a company in Iran, what are the laws regarding the limit of expatriate shareholding?
In case the expatriate can't own the majority of shares, is there an option for full ownership in a free zone?
Q: Hello,
We are filmmakers from Syria and Palestine, and we are willing to move to Iran start a small production company (3 persons) where we can have our own space and studio to launch.
The cinema industry in Iran had attracted us, and we are desiring to benefit from the Iranian expertise in this domain.
What are our options and where to start?

Hello
I have bought a property in Isfahan, but when I went to sell it I found out that there are problems with the land it is on and it was illegally built.
Should the lawyer acting on my behalf when I purchased it not have done a search and found out this before proceeding with the sale?
What can I do now?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been a victim of a scam by a non-regulated brokerage company (As I discovered later) located in Tehran.
I have an MOU for apartment reservation and paid a downpayment of 10%, and we didn't get any progress after 6 months.
The only progress is asking for more money otherwise they will cancel the MOU and keep the paid money.
I don't know what to do now!
Please give your advice, do I go to the court? To which court should I apply in order to institute legal procedures against it?
Thank you very much!
Dear Sir,
Could you please tell me what happens if one party in a litigation was requested to take an oath by the court, and gives a fake statement in a minor commercial debt case.
Can this be taken as the only evidence and the case is closed or the other party still have a chance to win?
Hi there,
I have moved with my family into a rented apartment in Tehran and paid the landlord 6 months rent & 1-month deposit upfront, but the landlord failed to tell us about any faults before we moved in.
Since we moved in we have had an electrician round to replace an electrical component which was due to faulty electrics causing the fuses to constantly trip, in addition to mould inside the walls and on attics making a very bad and unhealthy smell.
We have demanded our full rent & deposit back from the landlord due to the apartment behind completely uninhabitable due to the extreme smell of mould and other problems making it impossible to live there, but he is refusing to give us our money back. What can we do please?
