How to settle a bounced rental cheque case and lift travel ban

Hello,

There was a cheque bounce case for the rental of the company office we had with Tecom. The authority has banned my travel, and I'm in my home country right now.

My question is if I visit Dubai and settle this issue with paying the fine, will there be any further ban on my travel?

Dear Questioner,

Please be informed that the authority imposes a travel ban against you, so you cannot enter the country till you resolve this matter while you are outside the country, due to the fact that if you travel to the UAE they will catch you at the airport, and you will stay under Police custody until moving you to the Public Prosecution.

So, you must issue a Power of Attorney to us first to check if your name appears on the criminal records system of the UAE.

If you are clear, you can enter the country with no issue. But if your name appears on the criminal records, we will proceed to release it as well.

If you agree with the above-mentioned, please do not be hesitate to contact me on my email "ms@elnaggarlegal.com".

Thank you.
