Q: Good day, Attorney
I was called by our HR and said that they will not continue my contract and it will be finished within two months.
They said they will just finish it and will not continue. My question is that, is it considered a termination and I should receive a compensation of 6 months?

Q: I had joined a company 6 months back and now I have been terminated. the company has cancelled my CPR and visa on the 6th of July.
They say that I have to exit Bahrain before the 6th of August. I hear that I can get my stay extended by paying an amount to the LMRA and get it extended for 1 more month.
Please advice.

Q: I was hired by my employer on the 7th of January as a manager in Bahrain. The contract/job offer had mentioned a probation period of 6 months.
Now, for some reason, I was informed by my boss and the HR dept that I am terminated due to non-performance.
Is the clause of 6 months probation proper?

Claiming compensation for the termination of limited employment contract

Q: Hi,
My contract was suddenly terminated by my employer in Bahrain 7 months before my contract end date. (I was working with the same company for the last 4+ years).
The contract end date for the year 2018-2019: 7-Apr-2019
My last working day was 30-Sep-2018 [Notice was given on 2-Sep-2018]
But they didn't pay any compensation to me, and until now, they didn't pay my indemnity as well. I am currently working in the KSA.
Your proper legal guidance on the same will be highly appreciated.

Q: I have an open contract for 2 years, started September 2018.
The Bahraini company didn't pay me the last 4 months salary yet, I just received a termination letter with no real valid reasons, I have no warnings in my file.
What claim can I file regarding unpaid salaries and unfair dismissal?

How can a UAE company employee based in Bahrain claim labor dues upon termination?

Q: I was employed by a Dubai-based company in Oct 2019 for Bahrain operations, having a residence permit in Bahrain.
My appointment letter and agreement states that all the end-of-service benefits will be applicable as per the UAE labor law.
I was terminated in December after being employed for 2 yrs plus. The employer has not settled my December salary and 2 years of the end of service benefits.
Also, advise if I am entitled to receive 3 months of salary as per the UAE labor law.
Any additional compensation for not settling the dues up till now.

What are your rights in arbitrary dismissal if the company terminates you without notice?

Q: Under the new law, all contracts will be under the limited contract.
If they terminate you, are you going to receive a notice or not?
My company terminated me and gave me only 1 month's salary but no notice.
Please advise.

I am in the probation period. I came to Bahrain on a business visa and transferred locally. Now 10 more days left to complete my probation period.
I have submitted the resignation today 07.08.2019 and the company is not ready to agree to the local transfer.
What should I do and what is the procedure?

Filing a labor case to claim pending dues 0
I completed my two-year contract in a construction company.
I'd like to change the company because my current company is not paying salaries for the last 5 months and does not allow for a vacation. I got another job and I informed my current employer about that.
The next day they renewed my visa and said to continue here and promised that on July 1st I can go for a vacation and the pending salaries will be paid before that.
But still, they didn't send me and tell me next week. I am waiting for the vacation for the last 2 months. The main thing is that my father is sick in India and I informed them also but still they are doing this.
Two days ago I went to the office to see my manager and ask for my passport and I said I want to continue. He said that we will decide once you come back and promised within two days.
1) If they failed to keep the promise, what action can I take against them? I don't like to continue here anymore.
2) I am worried that if they send me on a vacation, they will cancel my visa. What can I do from India?

What to do to defend a cheque bounce case 0

My father is in prison after a cheque bounce case of 1.2 million Bahraini Dinars.
The only reason he was unable to pay this amount of money was due to a reduction in business due to the financial crisis going on.
His case is now being dealt with in the criminal court. In what way can we get him out and clear this mess? And can we apply for bankruptcy now?

What action should I take if my previous employer hasn't settled my final settlement plus my pending salaries prior to my resignation?
When I follow up, they would say that they don't have anything to give. It has already been more than a year since I left the company?
