The company refused the resignation. What to do?

Hi,

I am a nurse. I am working in the same company for more than 5 years. According to my contract, I have 3 months notice period.

My contract is ending in November so I submitted my resignation now. It is 3 months prior. But they rejected my resignation. The reason is that they are not getting staff.

I have an offer from a government firm. In this case, what can I do?

What is the legal option?

Dear questioner,

As you told that the contract can be terminated within 3 months notice period, so you have the right to resign.

If the company does not accept your resignation, you can send it by email.

In case your company does not allow you to stay 3 months, so you can submit a complaint in MOHRE.
