Not returning to work after emergency leave

I worked in UAE for 2 years and 3 months, I've already taken my free vacation after my 2 yrs contract and I returned to work, but suddenly, some emergency happened at home, so I need to take emergency leave and go back home. But the problem is, after my emergency leave, I was unable to return to work.

I want to know if I have been blacklisted because of that?

If you left the country without informing your employer and without complying with the employment cancellation procedure like service during the notice period and visa cancellation, then your employer will have no choice but to report you as absconding and you will be banned.

We cannot check if you are blacklisted as we do not have the required authority from you.

With best regards,

How can I know if I'm blacklisted? It was already 2 years ago when I left UAE for emergency leave and I'm planning to go back in UAE in 2018.

The type of ban can be an entry ban and/or a work ban, depending on what the employee has done while they have been in the UAE.

An employment ban could be for six months, one year, or permanent.
