Employer refuses the resignation of the employee and forces him to leave country

Hi

I submitted resignation to my company in the UAE but the HR department is not accepting my resignation.

20 days passed and I have also requested them many times to accept my resignation and they are refusing to accept it.

But after 20 days, the management is terminating me and saying "we will not cancel your visa and will not allow you to work for another company."

They are saying "we will send you back directly to your home country without any notice period."

I have a job offer from a company in the UAE.

Please advise.

Dear Questioner,

Your management is not the ruler of the country. They have no legal right to force you to leave the UAE.

If you have your original passport with you, please let us know at our email so that we can assist you to proceed with the cancellation of your visa without the appearance of your employer, based on the immigration regulations and the labor law of the UAE.

Thanks.

Dear Questioner,

They cannot, under any circumstances, force you to leave the UAE.

You can submit a complaint at the MOHRE or ministry of Labor and they will cancel it for you.

If you need any further information or legal assistance, do not hesitate to contact us on the phone or by email.

Regards
