Is it possible to resign with immediate effect in case of forced salary reduction?

Good day,

I just want to ask what can I do to legally resign immediately from my company. Because of Covid, our company is deducting 25% on our salary and hours of work.

But they didn't notify me of that deduction. I was just shocked that my salary is deducted. I have 1 year of service with them but until now they didn't give a full salary since my 1st day of work.

Now It is hard for me to budget my salary for 1 month. I only have AED 2000 salary per month and it has a 25% deduction so the total is only AED 1500.

My position in the company is IT Specialist, but my profession in my residence visa is a laborer.

My question is, how can I resign to them immediately without getting a labor ban or giving a notice period?

Or can I get my deducted salary for 1 year and pay it for my immediate resignation in the company?

Hi

If you have no signed agreement for a reduced salary, then you can open a case in labor court for the contracted amount of salary.

You may call me on my phone.

Dear Questioner,

First and foremost, if you did not sign an additional contract or agreement regarding the deduction, they have breached the contract.

And you may file a lawsuit against them demanding the deducted salary for the entire year and months they owe you, as well as compensation for the damages they have caused you during this entire period.

In terms of resignation, the Labor Law allows employees to resign without giving prior notice if the firm or employer fails to meet their commitments.
