Q: Hello, I am an American expatriate who was offered a job in a Dubai school. The employment offer and contract were both signed. The school asked me to come to Dubai on a visit visa and said they will process a work visa once I arrive. I arrived at their provided accommodation, but 2 days later, they canceled my contract stating I am no longer needed because of the low number of students in the class. They are now asking me to move out of the apartment in 1 day and go back which is all against the contract.
