Q: Sir/Madam,
I have worked for more than 6 years in JAFZA and now I want to resign from this company.
As per JAFZA, when we resign from the company the employee would have to pay 45 days salary to the employer.
I have a 30 days notice period with my employer.

Q: I have resigned under a limited 3-year contract after completing 2.6 years in DSO Free zone. I have already completed my 1 month notice period. My company is not providing me EOS papers.
HR is calling me and threatening that I need to pay a huge compensation saying that one of the projects lost because I have left the company (I have checked with the customer and they told me that it is not correct information).
I contacted the Free Zone authority and asked for the court referral papers. I have already informed them that I accept paying 45 days' basic salary for breaking the limited contract. They say that if I didn't pay that in cash, they will put a personal case on me.
Kindly suggest if going to DXB courts is a good option for me or not.
Also, what is the number of times I should send emails to my company stating that I can extend my stay after the notice period if they can provide me with EOS papers? (they don't want to provide that and only want me to continue working after the notice period).

Q: Hi!
I need your suggestion and advice regarding my case. I'm about to file a resignation letter to my current employer. I was working with them as a regular employee for 5 years.
Previously, I signed a new limited contract for 2 years and I got a new offer letter to a new company.
May I know what are the sanctions they will file on me once I file my resignation and also my 1 month notice period?

I have signed a limited contract from 31st Jan 2020 to 30th Jan 2022, Right Now I have completed one year and five months.
Please advise on the below matters:
1. Can I give resignation to my current employment?
2. Will my employer impose a ban on me, even after I have completed one year and five months?
3. If my employer banned me, what is the solution to remove the ban and work in another company (in the mainland itself)?

I am working with my company for 3 years on a limited period contract, and I renewed my visa last December 2020.
Now I want to resign from my current employer.

Good morning.
I just wanted to ask that I want to change my company for a certain reason and also it's been like only 7-8 months that I'm working here.
It's a limited contract for 2 years. Employers said if I resigned they will put a heavy penalty.
So am I allowed to leave or not?
Or how much should I pay them back?

The applicable law on an employee whose contract is with a Jafza company

Q: Dear sir/madam,
I have an employment contract with a company that's located in Jebel Ali Free Zone, while my work location is permanently outside of the UAE. My employers tell me I have no rights under UAE employment law as my contract is "International".
They will not answer which country or laws my contract is subject to. Can anybody advise if I have any UAE employment rights at all?
And if not, which rights might I be covered by?

Our internal contract has a notice period of 3 months from both parties. In the new labor implementation, only one month's notice is required for less than 5 years of service.
Please advise if we can follow our internal contract since the position is very curtailed and the organization will not be able to replace the position within one month.

Can you please clarify the correct annual leave salary rules?
Some say it is basic + HRA for the month you will take off, others say it is full salary, and somewhere I read it is basic + HRA (annual leave salary) plus the normal salary you get.

How to appeal the labor judgment if the court did not approve all my dues? 0
My employer has not paid my salary for 8.5 months. I went to the labor court, and was referred to Dubai Courts.
The judgment came and I did not receive the full claim including salaries and 3 months' compensation.
