Q: Good day.
My husband has a loan with a UAE bank. He has left the UAE a few years ago and has not paid the monthly payments.
Therefore the bank already approved to file a police case against him. He wants to visit one of the GCC countries for business and he wants to work there.
Thus he has contacted the bank to ask for rescheduling a new monthly payment plan and clear the police case. However, the bank wants to have the total amount of his loan.
I've heard that if someone has a financial police case in the UAE and when travelling to GCC countries, he will be arrested in any of the GCC countries airports, is it true?
Would it be possible to clear the police case and negotiate with the bank through a lawyer?
If it's possible, how long does it take?
Please advise,
Thank you.
Regards, E. B.

Can I work in other GCC countries if I have unpaid bank debts in the UAE?

Q: Greeting!
My name is Fazil Hussain,
I was working in the UAE for past 5 years, I have a personal loan of 80,000 from ADCB Bank in Dubai. I never missed a single EMI to the bank and had good records. But I lost my job, so had to come back to India.
I wanted to go back to Dubai and search for a job but the bank said they have blocked my visa and I cannot get a job there. I replied to the bank by email that if they block my visa then how can I find a job in Dubai and how should I pay my outstanding balance on the personal loan. I can pay my loan only if I get a job in the UAE...
Please help me with your advice, I can pay the outstanding only if I work in GCC. I can't afford to pay from India. I want to pay my outstanding and clear it.
Can the bank give me NOC to work in Dubai and pay their loan? And I want to know, is it possible if I go to Saudi Arabia and do a job and pay my installments to the bank in the UAE?

Is it possible to get arrested in other GCC countries because of a loan in the UAE?

Q: Good day!
I have a personal loan in the UAE, which I haven’t finished paying yet.
I’ve never missed any payment when I was still working there back in 2018. I had to go back to my home country and fix some of my personal problems.
I was planning to go back to work again in any GCC countries except the UAE because I want to first clear my loan from there and head back soon.
Is it possible I’ll get arrested in other GCC countries because of my loan in the UAE?
I got a job offer and I want to settle that loan ASAP.
Please advice!

View allThe maximum notice period employers can put in the contract as per the new labor law 0
Our internal contract has a notice period of 3 months from both parties. In the new labor implementation, only one month's notice is required for less than 5 years of service.
Please advise if we can follow our internal contract since the position is very curtailed and the organization will not be able to replace the position within one month.

Annual leave salary calculation as per the new labor law 0
Dear sir/madam,
Annual leave salary calculation as per the new labor law.
Can you please clarify the correct annual leave salary rules?
Some say it is basic + HRA for the month you will take off, others say it is full salary, and somewhere I read it is basic + HRA (annual leave salary) plus the normal salary you get.
Can you please clarify?
Thanks for your valuable time and kind assistance!
