The possibility to be caught in Bahrain because of a loan in the UAE

Hi,

I left the UAE in 2017 due to job loss leaving behind my debts totaling AED 400,000. A personal loan of 280,000 and the balance amount of 4 credit cards.

I have a job offer from Bahrain. Will it be possible for me to safely arrive and get a job visa? It would be great if you could respond to my query.

Thank you!

Dear questioner,

Thank You for contacting me!

I understand that you have failed to repay the debts you have acquired in the UAE. Please note that the same is against the agreement that you might have signed when you enrolled in the debt roll.

However, regarding your travel to Bahrain, it is very less likely to get caught in Bahrain for your unpaid debts in the UAE.

Though GCC countries have interconnected criminal investigation systems, it is only for crimes affecting or related to national security.
