The Public Prosecution will issue a judgment which can be a fine in most cases when the amount is less than AED 200,000.

It is categorized as SIMPLE CRIME against a fine of not exceeding AED 5,000 to AED 10,000 which will be imposed.

Upon payment of the fine, the criminal liability will come to an end. However, the civil liability of debt will remain till the said amount is paid and settled to the creditor.
