Q: Dear Miss,
I am currently in Pakistan.
I have received an offer letter from a company in the UAE through a recruiting agent, my question is that is there any way to confirm whether the offer letter is issued by the company or it is fake?
Also please confirm if I get this job of an accountant in the UAE, can I change my employer during two years contract period as I have heard that there is no ban on accountants.
I will appreciate your response.
Best regards

How to know if a job offer is real or scam?

Q: Hey there.
A company called A VISUAL DESIGN LLC wants me for a job, but they said that the new international artists working remotely from outside the UAE are not yet processed with ADC.
In other words, freelance graphic artists, designers and animators must transfer USD 58.00 to the company in-house agents via the Western Union, in order to receive their incentive package and official terms of agreement via courier service.
Is there a fee to cover Arabic translation and notary costs of the employment contract?
The company says it must be physically received as per the UAE law, and I would like to know if that is a real law?

How can I make sure whether a job offer is genuine or scam in Dubai?
4
Q: Hi,
I received a job offer in Dubai as an electrical/instrumentation supervisor but I'm just a bit confused for two reasons:
1) The starting monthly salary is AED 93,500.00 plus other benefits of AED 12,000.00
2) The company asked me to pay for the visa and for the work permit in the UAE (the site seems original and genuine..).
The sum would be repaid at the beginning of the work in Dubai.
This is strange because I have never advanced money for a visa in my passport and for a work permit when I worked abroad out of Italy I suppose this is a fake job offer.
Thanks and regards
G.

The fraudsters allegedly post jobs online or even on reputable websites like #Monster.com or #Naukrigulf.com with too good to be true salaries and unbelievable benefits. Then WITHOUT an interview or fake telephone call interview (which is never done for real jobs in the UAE) provides an offer letter which includes the names and logos of the employer with or without the UAE Embassy stamp and then asks you to pay processing or visa fee to a travel company or exchange companies. View allHow can I vacate my tenant if the rental agreement ends before the eviction notice deadline? 0
My Dubai tenant's rental agreement is ending by the end of September 2024 and the completion of 12 months of legally served Eviction Notice is the end of December 2024.
I have two questions:
(a) Can I send a rent increase notice 3 months before as the rent has increased as per the RERA rent calculator?
(b) The second question is, do I have to renew the rental agreement for 3 months (until December 2024) or not?
Thank you.

How can I reach a settlement with the bank for a mortgage of a jointly owned property? 0
I have a jointly owned property in Abu Dhabi. The mortgage was defaulted on as I had to leave the property with my children following an assault by my ex-husband. He left the country in 2018 and never paid the mortgage.
As I was in the country, the bank filed a criminal case against me, and I was sentenced to 3 years. I won the appeal against the bank and then filed another criminal case a few months later in Dubai. Again, I won and paid a fine.
In 2019, the bank started a civil case against me and my ex-husband to have the property repossessed. However, at the time of the purchase of the property, there were no Title Deeds, the bank requires this.
I cannot give them the Title Deeds to sell the property and pay back the amount owed to them as my ex-husband refuses to provide a POA. The bank has filed another criminal case against me only for our jointly owned property.
I wish to resolve this and pay off the bank and receive any money left from the sale. How can I resolve this issue of the Title Deeds?

Can a real estate agency hold a percentage of a property sale until transfer is done? 0
A real estate agency has signed an MOU stating that a 10% security deposit from the buyer and the seller will be kept in the real estate agency and will be released upon transferring the property.
The transfer of the property was blocked due to the court order.
According to my colleagues, the real estate agency is not a trustee and they are not allowed to have taken my security check in the first place, is this correct?
