Claiming compensation after job offer withdrawal by the employer
Hi ma'am,
I am an anesthesia technician. A new company has given me an MOL offer letter which is signed by both employer and employee.
Now, suddenly after all procedures, they told me that they are canceling my offer letter and asked me to search for another job.
For the last three months, I sit jobless and resigned from my previous company to join that new company.
What should I do?
Please help me!

Dear questioner,
Thank you for contacting me!
Unfortunately, you have not mentioned the reason behind such a withdrawal.
Please note that an employment offer letter can be issued conditionally.
If the employer was not able to obtain work and residency authorization for the employee to ensure that the employee could be lawfully employed or if the authorizations are not obtained for whatever reason, then the employment offer can be withdrawn.
In this case, you may not have a potential claim.
Further, you may approach the ministry of labor and if you can prove the loss you suffered as a result of this incident, you can ask for compensation.
Please feel free to contact me if you need any further explanation for legal assistance.
