What are the rights of an employee after resignation?

Hi Mr Khaled,

In case the company don't want to pay end of service due to disciplinary action, can I claim my other benefits like leave salary, housing salary & ticket amount wherein the law only talks about the end of service i.e. Gratuity?

Please advise (JAFZA Labor Law).

Hi,

Is it termination or resignation?

In case of termination, the company is liable to pay 3 months salary and other benefits.

However, if the disciplinary action is not under article 120 of the labour law then the employer also should provide the benefit.

We have to check what was the issue and you can claim your benefits through the court.

Hi Sir,

First of all many thanks for your reply.

Actually, it was disciplinary action where I resigned and I have 12+ yrs of gratuity benefit.

Along with that, I have pending 2 yrs annual leave & ticket cost.

Am I able to get balance payment other than gratuity?

Please guide
