Q: I submitted resignation on Feb 4th due to salary delay issues and the management agreed that salary will be on or before 15th of every month.
As per that, I withdrew the resignation, but still, I face the same delay issues. And today I registered a complaint in the labour. All I request is to release me without fine.
I am ready to sacrifice the dues and settlements from the company. 9 months under limited contract. All I need is to relieve me asap without a ban.
The labour department told me to wait for 10 days for salary crediting, and if not, they will go further. As per my complaint, they may release this month pay.
What about the coming months? Should I register a complaint in labour every month?
Kindly suggest how to solve this and get cancellation without a 1-year ban.

Labour rights upon resignation for non-payment of salary
10
Q: Dear Ahmed,
My sister is working for a catering company based in a school and she didn't get her salary since May. She doesn't wish to continue with this company.
Her contract is limited and joined in September 2017, but the contract is dated 04/12/2017.
As per article 121, she has the right to resign without notice, however, another article says that she needs to pay the employer “early termination compensation”.
How can we proceed without losing the money?
Thank you.

Cancellation of labour contract for delay in salary
16
Q: Dear Sir,
I have a query relating to the cancellation of labour ban on grounds that the company is delaying the salary almost 59 days (1-day short) two months.
It has become a habit of the company to delay the salary every month. I would seek the following information:
- What are the criteria for breaking the contract on grounds of delay in salary in case I apply for cancellation on the basis of delay in salary?
- Shall I have to pay 45 days salary or no?

Q: My friend joined a company in Jabel Ali Freezone in December 2020. Now he is about to complete 5 months in the company and they have processed his visa too.
But the problem is that in that company, the salaries are pending from the last 1 year and this guy is also not getting anything from the last 5 months.
Now he attended an interview outside Freezone in Dubai and so is he able to get released from that company without any legal actions?

An employer breaches his obligations with an employee. What to do?
1
Q: Hello,
I am 24 years old girl. I am an interior designer. It's almost four months since I came to work in Dubai. I have two months of salary arrears and when I inquired about it, the Indian owner scolded me threateningly and told me not to bother him again.
Then he told me not to come to work until his wife calls me again. Even after two weeks, I was not told to come back to the company, and when I asked about it, the owner repeatedly asked me not to ask.
I came to this company because this owner gave this offer when I was in my country. One of my friends introduced me to this company owner, but now after I came here, this owner is treating me badly. Can I know how to handle this, because if I got fired from this company, it is not good for my future career path.

The employer is not paying the salary on time. What can the employee do?
2
Q: Hello Madam,
My company is not paying salary on time. I have a pending of one and a half months. Whenever I ask for the salary, they do not respond to my emails and messages. Every two months only they pay me.
Through the MOHRE App, the WPS section is empty. I'm not able to monitor my salaries. And I have a fear of getting all the money at the end of my service because my colleagues suffered a lot for getting payment from the company. They didn't get paid fully.
How to handle this matter?
Furthermore, my employer is holding my passport too. They informed me that they will provide it in case of vacation or resignation. What to do on this matter too?

View allHow can I vacate my tenant if the rental agreement ends before the eviction notice deadline? 0
My Dubai tenant's rental agreement is ending by the end of September 2024 and the completion of 12 months of legally served Eviction Notice is the end of December 2024.
I have two questions:
(a) Can I send a rent increase notice 3 months before as the rent has increased as per the RERA rent calculator?
(b) The second question is, do I have to renew the rental agreement for 3 months (until December 2024) or not?
Thank you.

How can I reach a settlement with the bank for a mortgage of a jointly owned property? 0
I have a jointly owned property in Abu Dhabi. The mortgage was defaulted on as I had to leave the property with my children following an assault by my ex-husband. He left the country in 2018 and never paid the mortgage.
As I was in the country, the bank filed a criminal case against me, and I was sentenced to 3 years. I won the appeal against the bank and then filed another criminal case a few months later in Dubai. Again, I won and paid a fine.
In 2019, the bank started a civil case against me and my ex-husband to have the property repossessed. However, at the time of the purchase of the property, there were no Title Deeds, the bank requires this.
I cannot give them the Title Deeds to sell the property and pay back the amount owed to them as my ex-husband refuses to provide a POA. The bank has filed another criminal case against me only for our jointly owned property.
I wish to resolve this and pay off the bank and receive any money left from the sale. How can I resolve this issue of the Title Deeds?

Can a real estate agency hold a percentage of a property sale until transfer is done? 0
A real estate agency has signed an MOU stating that a 10% security deposit from the buyer and the seller will be kept in the real estate agency and will be released upon transferring the property.
The transfer of the property was blocked due to the court order.
According to my colleagues, the real estate agency is not a trustee and they are not allowed to have taken my security check in the first place, is this correct?
