Labour court procedures when the employer fails to attend the hearings

Q: Hi. I have filed a labour case with Dubai court against my employer for the non-payment of salaries and final settlement. The amount is approximately AED 95000. My company did not appear for any hearing in the court, and after placing two public advertisements the judge has decided judgement date to be 30 November. Please advise what happens next. Can my company still delay procedures? Is it ok for me to cancel my visa after delivering the judgement and how do I get my money?

How many times can labour court judgement be appealed?

Q: My salary labour case has been going on for 7 months now. After the 1st judgement, the owner appealed because of which I had to wait again and go for the 2nd judgement. Question1: Can he appeal 2nd time again? Question2: I have a Job Offer. I want to cancel this visa of my previous employer. What should I do as enough time has already been wasted? Help appreciated!

Labor case execution and checking legal status in the UAE

Q: Hello. I used to work in Dubai. My company did not pay me my salary for 8 months, so I filed a case at the court. In the meantime, the company started a case at the prosecution that I sold material and stole money. Also, the company now is closed with many bounced checks. I left to work in Canada and I do not know the status of my cases. I heard that the court awarded me 200K for my labour case but I am afraid to go to Dubai to check and I am unable to do so online. I need a lawyer to represent me in the 2 cases. The owners of the company are Lebanese and they left the country. Can we execute in Lebanon?

What can I do if my creditor used my blank cheque to put an amount more than my unpaid balance?

Hi, I have issued a blank cheque for my EMI, and now the company is using my blank cheque and putting any amount to deposit it.
