Possible judgement for two bounced cheques in Dubai
A company cheque case was opened against me in July 2017 (Muraqabat Police Station) for AED 221,600/-.
The total amounts of the two cheques are AED 108,000/- and AED 113,600/- respectively.
What will be the possible judgement in this case as it's still pending? Can this be settled by paying fine?

Yes, it is possible. But they might file a civil case after the judgment is passed by the court in the criminal case to claim the amount of the cheques.

Above AED 200000, the judgment would be jail and fine, but under 200000 it's only fine.
But after that, they file a civil case against you for the amount.
