Inability to pay the rent due to the current Corona-virus situation
The situation is bad because of Corona-virus. I couldn't pay the rent. Two bank cheques have bonused. I asked the shop owner many times to give some relief but he refused.
He has filed a case against me in RDC. I have been paying rent since December 2017. I could not continue paying due to the circumstances. What should I do now?

As per your query, please note that if the landlord has filed a case in RDC, then you have to oppose it and tell the facts to the court.
Also, due to Coronavirus and the bad economic condition, the court may decrease your rent or terminate the contract.
If you lose the case, then you have the chance to appeal. If you can prove your condition to the RDC, then you may get some relief.
