Claiming the protection plan by the family of a deceased person
My father died in a heart attack in Abu Dhabi. I received his death certificate. My mother is living with me.
He has protection plus plan in a private bank. How can we claim to get the money?
Dear Questioner,
I will assume that the Protection Plus Plan is some sort of a life insurance policy issued by a private bank.
If that is the case, then you might need to go back to the life insurance policy terms and read it to understand if you and your mother are the beneficiaries of the policy or not.
On the other hand, you have to check as well if the death conditions apply to the terms of the insurance policy.
If you are the beneficiary and the death conditions apply to the terms of the policy, then you should send an official request to the policy issuers informing them with the death occasion occurrence and to inquire about the process to claim the proceeds of the policy.

Dear questioner,
You have to open a case in the family court along with your father's death certificate.
You have to take probate from the court in your mother's favour so that you can give it to the bank to release the insured amount in your mother's name.
Further, we can help you with this case.
If need be, kindly contact us by phone for a detailed discussion or write to us at our email for further assistance.
