Cost and proceedings of a mutually-agreed divorce in the UAE
Salam.
Would like to know, how one can initiate divorce in the UAE, both husband and wife are willing to separate.
How long will the process be, if one goes to court on own? And if one takes assistance from a Lawyer, how fast it can be done and what could be total approx. cost?

After the reconciliation, you may decide mutually to go for divorce. You should make an agreement for future transactions.
If you mutually go to the court, it will not take much time. If you wish to hire a lawyer, you may do it. That will be helpful also, but I will give you a suggestion that there is no need to appoint a lawyer for the process.
However, for the agreement you must consult with a lawyer and both parties should consult with their separate lawyers not only one. The cost depends on the lawyer experience and the law firm.
