Sharing of assets bought during marriage when getting divorced
We are ex-pats having the same religion (Orthodox Christians), but different nationalities. We moved to Dubai because of the husband's job with two minor children. I am a housewife with no steady income except for some freelance jobs.
I take care of the kids and house while he is at the office. All savings were made during the marriage. He bought a real estate in Dubai and put it all under his name only. What are my financial rights in case of divorce and how would assets be shared?
Thank you in advance!

Dear questioner,
We can help you in your divorce case while protecting your interest at all times.
The division of assets during a divorce is very difficult in the UAE, but you can claim your money/savings lent to your husband.
If need be, kindly contact us via phone for a detailed discussion or write us an email for further assistance.

You should have proof that you have a share of the money by which your husband bought the property in Dubai because the division of assets is very complicated in the UAE family court.
I also share the advice that if your own country would apply the share of assets in the divorce case, then apply the divorce case in your country and obtain a judgment, then if any decision would be related to the property in UAE, you can enforce it before UAE in regard of the property.

Dear questioner,
Pursuant to the information provided, we can help you, but we need to know your nationality and other related matters in detail. To have a detailed discussion, kindly contact us via phone or mail.
Thank You!
