Setting up a branch of the foreign company in the UAE

Hi,

We are a building contractor from South East Asia, looking to set up a 100% self-owned branch office in Dubai. Our activities will require us to have a contracting licence and import building materials into the UAE.

What are the business structures that allow us to apply for a contracting licence and import building materials?

Local Service Agent (LSA) is a mandatory requirement for establishing the branch of a foreign company in the UAE, except in the free zones of the UAE.

Separate licenses may be required depending upon the activities you want to carry within the jurisdiction.

We would be glad to advise you on the following issues, as understood from your question.

1. Choosing a secured legal status of the establishment.

2. Legal status of licenses

3. Choosing the jurisdiction and incorporation entity.

4. Opting the best LSA

5. Establishment and incorporation support.

6. Corporate structuring, governance and ancillary services for meeting the requirements.
