Accepting a new job offer if the current employer failed to issue visa
Hi Sir.
I would like to ask about my current situation, I am currently employed in a company, I signed a job offer last September 2019, until today I still don't have an employment visa.
But they are giving me the correct salary. When my tourist visa expires last November, they paid for my exit and for my new tourist visa, same also what happened in February, they paid for my exit and new tourist visa.
Now my tourist visa is expiring on May 3rd, 2020 and I have a new job offer from another company. Can I transfer immediately?
Legally speaking, you and the company are violating the laws of the UAE because a tourist cannot work without labour permission.
This means that your relationship with the current company is illegal.
If you have a new job, then inform the current employer that you will not continue with them and you can move to the new one.
